Bijou Patisserie is an elegant French pastry lounge set within the lobby of Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk in Wafi City. Known for its refined, traditional French pastries and an exquisite afternoon tea experience, it has become a favourite destination for lovers of French patisserie art in Dubai. The lounge offers breakfast, takeaway and a range of French pastries, including éclairs, lemon tarts and its signature Cannelés Bordelais, available in vanilla, pistachio, chocolate and lemon. Its centerpiece experience is "Le Goûter," a French afternoon tea served daily from 2pm to 6pm inside an iconic pink vault that opens with a personal key for every guest. The interior is designed in an art deco style, featuring geometric ceiling forms, an ivory colour palette, curved furniture and a marble pastry counter as its focal point. The lounge is led by Executive Pastry Chef Jean-François Le Luherne, who brings more than twenty years of experience blending classical French technique with contemporary creativity. Bijou Patisserie has been recognised with "Dubai's Highly Commended Afternoon Tea 2025" and "Dubai's Best Afternoon Tea" for 2022 and 2023.
